This small extension to a heritage listed row house in Adelaide is designed to maximise every inch of space. On a tiny, postage stamp parcel of land (118sqm!), this design works hard to keep things efficient and functional. The rear extension was designed as a clean, contemporary extension, leaving the 1880's stone cottage relatively untouched. Working with limited space and a limited budget, the outcome relies on a simple construction methodology and use of a limited palette.
